About

I’m Jacqui and the founder of The Happy Skin Clinic® based in North Shropshire.
I am a non-medical, independent skin consultant specialising in skin literacy. I use The SkinChat Method® framework to help clients understand how their skin tends to behave overtime, so they can make more confident decisions about how to care for it, within the context of their life.
-
Before establishing The Happy Skin Clinic, I spent many years building and leading people-centred services across education, healthcare and large operational organisations.
Over time my focus moved increasingly towards skin health, where I became aware of how little clear, neutral guidance exists to help people understand how their skin functions in everyday life.
Today my work focuses on supporting people to understand their skin before deciding how best to care for it.
-
Over time I became increasingly aware that many people feel uncertain about their skin. They are often given products or treatments, but rarely clear explanations of how their skin actually behaves or what it may be responding to in everyday life.
The approach I use today developed from that observation. My aim is not simply to provide treatments, but to help people understand their skin so they can care for it with greater confidence.
