  • Appointments are made through the online booking system on the website.

    Simply choose your appointment type, select a time that suits you, and follow the prompts to confirm your booking.

    Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible.

  • Appointments cancelled with 24 hours’ notice or more will not be charged.

    Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a charge of 50% of the appointment cost.

    If the clinic needs to cancel an appointment for any reason, you will be offered the option to rearrange or receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Some appointments require a deposit at the time of booking. The booking system will prompt you if this applies.

    If no deposit is required, payment can be made on the day of your appointment.

    For hygiene and safety reasons, products purchased in clinic cannot be returned, although your statutory rights remain unaffected.

    No refunds are available for product sales for health and safety reasons. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the clinic.

    Contact the clinic as soon as possible to rearrange your appointment.

  • Patch testing is required for certain treatments to ensure that your skin responds safely.

    For electrolysis treatments, a patch test helps assess the skin and determine the most appropriate treatment settings.

    Where required, patch tests should be carried out at least one week before treatment.

  • When clients are in the clinic, my full attention is on their appointment.

    For this reason, the quickest way to contact the clinic is usually via the website contact form or email. Messages are responded to during working hours when there is no client in attendance.

  • Yes. The Happy Skin Clinic operates in accordance with UK professional standards and holds professional insurance.

    Memberships include:

    • Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)

    • International Association for Applied Corneotherapy (IAC)

    • Cosmetic Redress Scheme (CRS)

    Licences, insurance certificates and registrations are displayed in the clinic.

  • Feedback is always welcome and taken seriously.

    If you wish to raise a concern or make a complaint, please contact the clinic directly and every effort will be made to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

     If a resolution cannot be reached, clients may contact the Cosmetic Redress Scheme, the clinic’s independent dispute resolution provider.

  •  Face coverings are not required for clients.

    However, the therapist may wear a face covering during close-contact treatments.

    Clients are welcome to request that a face covering is worn during consultations if they prefer.

  • The consultation focuses on understanding how your skin behaves, what it is currently showing, and what may be influencing it. Together we explore practical ways to support your skin at home, with professional treatments or products recommended only where appropriate.
