Why This Page Exists
Since the ‘Cost of Beauty’ campaign inception in 2024, five topics related to skin and beauty have been publicly addressed by CTIS: nasal tanning sprays, eyelash lift kits, nail adhesives, skin lightening products, and teeth whitening kits.
If more warnings exist, they are not currently available to the public.
Further, not all of these five received a formal press release. Some were shared via Trading Standards campaign materials or picked up by industry publications focused at professionals.
This page exists to bring those messages together, in one clear space - because skin safety shouldn’t rely on luck, headlines, or who happens to be watching.
