Flare-ups can feel unpredictable and disheartening - but they’re also a signal. This checklist helps you reflect gently on what might be contributing. You don’t need to tick every box - just notice what stands out.

🧴 SKIN PRODUCTS & HABITS

☐ New skincare, makeup, or hair products introduced recently
☐ Products with fragrance, alcohol, or harsh actives
☐ Frequent exfoliation or overuse of active ingredients
☐ Using wipes, hot water, or foaming cleansers
☐ Touching or picking at skin
☐ No moisturiser when skin feels irritated

What might help:
→ Simplify your skincare routine with fragrance-free, barrier-friendly products

🍽️ FOOD & DRINK

☐ Spicy foods, hot drinks, or alcohol (especially red wine)
☐ Increased sugar or processed foods
☐ Digestive issues like bloating or discomfort
☐ Not enough water or fibre

What might help:

🛏️ SLEEP, STRESS & EMOTIONS

☐ Poor sleep, late nights, or screen time before bed
☐ Stressful period (even low-level or emotional tension)
☐ Feeling unsupported or emotionally overwhelmed

🌦️ WEATHER & ENVIRONMENT

☐ Recent exposure to sun, wind, or cold

☐ Changes in environment (travel, central heating, air con)
☐ Lack of UV protection or missing sunglasses

What might help:

💡REMEMBER

Rosacea doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. It often takes a mix of triggers to flare - and small lifestyle tweaks can make a real difference.
